1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CAD Academy (cadacademy.lk). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and educational programs. By accessing or using cadacademy.lk, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

CAD Academy is an educational institution based in Sri Lanka that offers comprehensive training programs in:

3. Eligibility & User Responsibilities

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
• Ensuring that all information you provide is truthful and accurate
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Using our services only for lawful purposes

4. Course Enrollment & Payments

When you enroll in a course:

• You agree to pay all applicable fees as specified at the time of enrollment
• Course availability is subject to change, and we reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, or instructors
• Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or as per the payment plan agreed upon
• You must meet any prerequisites specified for the course
• We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at our discretion

5. Fees, Refunds & Cancellations

Fees

All course fees are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated. Fees are subject to change without prior notice, but changes will not affect courses for which you have already enrolled and paid.

Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to finance@cadacademy.lk. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Before Course Start: Full refund minus administrative charges (if any) if cancellation is made at least 7 days before the course start date
• After Course Start: No refunds are available once a course has commenced, except in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion
• Course Cancellation by CAD Academy: Full refund will be provided if we cancel a course
• Refund processing may take 14-21 business days

Cancellations

You may cancel your enrollment by contacting us at least 7 days before the course start date. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date may be subject to cancellation fees.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on cadacademy.lk, including but not limited to:

• Course materials, videos, presentations, and documentation
• Website design, logos, graphics, and text
• Software, tools, and resources provided during courses
• Trademarks and brand names

are the exclusive property of CAD Academy or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without written permission
• Use our content for commercial purposes
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices from materials
• Create derivative works based on our content

Personal use of course materials for your own learning is permitted. Any violation of these intellectual property rights may result in immediate termination of your access and legal action.

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any applicable local, national, or international law
• Harassing, threatening, or harming other students, instructors, or staff
• Sharing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfering with or disrupting the operation of our website or services
• Using automated systems to access our website without permission
• Sharing your account credentials with others
• Posting or transmitting any content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates others' rights
• Using our services to compete with CAD Academy or for any commercial purpose without authorization

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities
• You fail to pay required fees
• You breach any applicable laws or regulations
• We determine, at our sole discretion, that your use of our services is inappropriate

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use our services will immediately cease
• You will not be entitled to any refunds (except as required by law)
• We may delete your account and associated data
• All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CAD Academy provides our services "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
• We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services
• Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

This limitation of liability does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited.
